The annual Florida SpringsFest (formerly the Marion County Springs Festival). Since 2000, Florida SpringsFest has been educating visitors about Florida Springs. This two-day event will feature all the regular things that Silver Springs offers, like glass bottom boats, canoe and kayak rentals, and other recreational activities, plus music, entertainment, guest speakers, scientists, artists, activists and others that care about Florida’s springs. There will also be a silent auction and a showcase of student artwork. Of course, there will be a variety of vendors selling photos, paintings, and more as well as food vendors. Stay tuned for more details as the event gets closer.


Additional Information:

Enter the park through the main entrance located at 5656 East Silver Springs Boulevard (State Road 40). State Park entry is only $2.00 per person, Glass Bottom Boat tours are half priced both days, March 7th & 8th, 2020 from 10am to 4pm ($5.50 adults; $5 seniors 55 and over; $5 children 6-12 yrs; free 5 and under). All the music, movies, mermaids, games, tours, education opportunities, interactive exhibits included with your park entry!

Friends of Silver Springs State Park is a Citizen Support Organization (CSO), a non-profit volunteer organization, dedicated to preserving and enhancing Silver Springs State Park. We support Silver Springs State Park by providing volunteers, educating visitors, hosting events and raising funds for specific park projects.
