COOKIN' FOR A CAUSE: ANNUAL PANCAKES BREAKFAST AT SILVER SPRINGS
Pancakes in the Park 2020
As it is Tradition, the last Saturday in February (February 29th), is the day for our legendary Pancakes in the Park breakfast.
Tickets are available at the event for $5 for adults and $3 for kids under 12. The breakfast will begin just after 8:00 am in the Magnolia Pavilion at the Museum and Camping Entrance of Silver Springs State Park off State Route 35, Baseline Road, and will continue until 11:00 am. In addition to pancakes and sausages, visitors can enjoy juice and coffee as they enjoy the early spring weather. Donations are being accepted to help fund various visitor services, maintenance, and resource management projects around the park.
A ranger-led hike will take place at 9:00 am which will focus on the plants and wildlife along the River Trails. The nearby Silver River Museum will also be open beginning at 10:00 am for an additional $2 per person entrance fee.
